In the 1970s, Lev and I became very close, almost like siblings. We spent many holidays and weekends together, at John & Marina's, my father, my grandmother Eva and my mother, and of course Bob & Tat's.

Our creative energy found an outlet in a club we founded called the Dog Army. This was based on the premise of an army of humanoid dogs locked in a war against the cats. Our mission was to produce propaganda posters for this mythical war. Lev applied himself to the task with characteristic industry.
